OZEKI started producing sake in California, USA in 1979, becoming the first Japanese manufacturer to do so. Now in its 42nd year, OZEKI responded to global diversity movements by launching "One Cup Rainbow," inspired by local suggestions and high demand from overseas, including the United States. Originally planned for 8 countries, it quickly sold out, prompting a domestic release in Japan.
